Particularly large was the participation of citizens in the breast palpation and spirometry examinations conducted at the KAPI “Theophilos” in the framework of cooperation between the Social Solidarity Department and the ANASSA Clinic. As the Deputy Mayor of Social Care and Solidarity, Mrs. Voula Anagnostou, stressed, the participation was great. This shows that people have needs and may not be able to pay for these screenings. She thanked the ANASSA clinic for the initiative and stressed the great importance of preventive examinations. According to Mr. Sotiris Doumas, Communications and Marketing Manager of the ANASSA Clinic, the response of the people exceeded all expectations and after the examination, the examinees also received the results of the examinations and were informed by the doctors of the participating clinic about any findings and their condition in general. He also stressed that ANASSA would be a supporter of similar actions aimed at promoting the health of citizens. The deputy mayor said that these examinations were a gift of a lifetime from ANASSA to the people and the deputy mayorate responded by providing the building for them to take place. Ms. Anagnostou expressed the hope that in addition to this clinic, others would respond to help people who belong to vulnerable groups and cannot afford to have examinations. General Surgeon Mrs. Yovanni Angeliki and Pulmonologist Mrs. Psatha Angeliki participated in the examinations from ANASSA.
