The response of interested women in Velestino to the call of the Health Centre of the Municipality of Riga Feraio for the Prevention Days was great, in a co-organization with the ANASSA Clinic, the Health Centre of Velestino and the Women’s Association “Hyperia Fountain”.
The programme, which took place in Velestino on 5 November 2019, included information and clinical breast examinations for women as well as spirometry and respiratory function tests for all.
The women were examined by General Surgeons Ms. Angeliki Yovanni and Mr. Konstantinos Maraveias, while all those interested had spirometry by Pulmonologist Ms. Angeliki Psathas.
The above health program reminds all women of the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer and reminds women and men of the value of preventive screening for proper respiratory function.
ANASSA is committed to carrying out other similar actions, with the aim of bringing the concept of prevention to every small community and making it accessible to all citizens.
