ANASSA, with a sense of responsibility next to every human activity, in collaboration with the company “Papapostolou Healthcare Technologies”, offered to the “Agia Anna” Football School, a defibrillator of the latest technology of two-phase type, by SCHILLER, suitable for defibrillation in adults and children.
Automatic external defibrillators in public places save the lives of people who have suffered cardiac arrest. They can also be used by non-medical personnel. They are devices that deliver electricity in a special form to restore the normal rhythm of the heart after cardiac arrest. In the event of a heart problem, they deliver a properly calculated electrical current to restore the heart rhythm.
In the crowded hall of the School, in a special event held on Saturday 14-12-1019, attended by a large number of people, athletes, parents, coaches, sports officials led by the President of the Union Mr. Pericles Laskarakis and Mr. Miltos Kalogiros, Antonis Daloukas, the coach of Nike Volos Mr. Staikos Vergeti and the head of the school Mr. Simos Ioannis.

ANASSA will soon undertake the training of the club’s coaches and the staff of the sports centre in the use of the defibrillator as well as in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), training which will be accompanied by the granting of a certification.
In this way, ANASSA, responding to the confidence of athletes, children, parents and managers of the “Agia Anna” Academy in the complete and qualitative sports cardiology checks provided by the Polyclinic, actively supports the efforts of all for better health at all stages, in prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
