3D Panoramic (Cone Beam Computed Tomography - CBCT) – Cephalometry
In harmonization with the new scientific trends, ANASSA runs an ultramodern radiology laboratory at its facility, within which 3D CBCT panoramic imaging, cephalometric and classical panoramic x-rays are performed.
Dental computed tomography is an innovation in the field of imaging and in the field of diagnostics in modern dentistry. The tomography scanner that is available at the ANASSA clinic provides three-dimensional images, illustrating the structures of teeth and jaws in great detail and precision.
It is also able to take tomographic images of both jaws, each on their own, as well as images of targeted areas (quartiles). Thus, patients are provided with high-quality and precision imaging that is necessary for the patients’ proper medical approach in dental implantology.
“sophisticated diagnostic accuracy”
The digital orthopantographer at ANASSA is a state-of-the-art technology and combines real digital panoramic imaging and a 3D conical beam imaging in one unit.
It is suitable for panoramic and cephalometric images for both adults and children, providing higher imaging capability due to higher dynamic range, better contrast and less image distortion.
Using this detector ensures low dose, fast imaging and high diagnostic accuracy as well as the processing and visualization of 3D images, since it features imaging modalities such as:
- 3D Panoramic Imaging
- Panoramic Imaging
- Temporomandibular joint both lateral and anterior/posterior rotation
- Pediatric x-ray using a special program. During the pediatric panoramic x-ray a smaller width and height is used. Children receive a lower dose of radiation for a shorter exposure time.
All of the above are available to interested parties, always with the best possible service from the clinic’s experienced nursing, technical and administrative staff.
